AI Capabilities &
Human Complexity

Hi! I'm Mia, exploring how AI systems behave, how humans interact with them, and how organizations can responsibly adopt them. Over the past six years, I've worked at the intersection of automation, AI, and relationship management, helping teams navigate transformation, align diverse stakeholders, and turn emerging technology into real-world outcomes.

Aimai reflects both my aim to expand AI's benefit to humanity and the Japanese word 曖昧, meaning "ambiguity." Great outcomes start with embracing ambiguity, aligning diverse perspectives, and moving through complexity together.

[2026—now]
AI Evaluator · Independent

I evaluate frontier AI models by testing capabilities, identifying failure modes, and developing evaluation frameworks that measure response quality, reasoning, and reliability.

My work spans text, image, and video models, including designing multi-step tasks that assess data analysis, strategy, and execution.

Senior Manager, Client Development · RGP

Partnered with Fortune 100 organizations navigating business transformation, building relationships across leadership teams and translating business needs into actionable solutions.

Worked alongside Change Management and People Experience teams to design solutions centered on adoption, not just implementation. Internally, introduced AI workflows including prompt libraries, pre-call strategy tools, and automated document workflows.

Global Project Manager, Business Development · Keyence

Managed technical strategy and execution for Keyence's largest global strategic account across a 3,000-product industrial automation portfolio.

Advised clients on the boundary between rules-based automation and AI, evaluating tradeoffs across accuracy, scalability, and operational impact. Led multi-million-dollar deployments from technical scoping through implementation, including inspection systems capable of detecting micron-level defects in under a second.

Built the sales team's first RPA workflow, increasing lead generation by 60%. Standardized machine bring-up processes across 500+ deployments throughout China and South Korea.

// experiments in AI + technology

I'm exploring how emerging technology can create meaningful impact by building, testing, and learning through small experiments. Each project is a step toward developing stronger technical fluency and understanding the systems shaping the future of work.

// beyond work

Curious by default, creative on purpose.

I'm drawn to new perspectives and the places disciplines overlap: movement, languages, markets, spirituality, and ideas all feed the same appetite. My competitive streak runs through it, from a 180-day Duolingo run across Mandarin and chess to volleyball. Off the court, I'm usually sitting in the sun and deep in what I'm reading.

// what's next

I do my best work where people and emerging technology meet: helping others understand what's possible, and shaping adoption for long-term value instead of short-term novelty.

I care more about the problem than the title. I move fast, learn in the open, and stay close to how real people actually use what gets built.
